- In March 2020, M&G obtained planning permission for 5 character country cottages in this village edge location.
- Cerne Abbas is a strikingly beautiful village set amongst the steep chalk valleys of central Dorset. It is served by 3 local pubs and benefits from a vibrant and bustling village community. M&G are delighted to be building in the village.
- Our site is located on Duck Street, adjacent to the village hall and a short hop from the infamous Cerne Abbas Giant. Several of the completed houses will benefit from views of the Giant.
- M&G have worked with our architect, Stephen Whittam, to produce a delightful scheme comprising 5 cottages set around a small open courtyard. It has been designed to reflect and compliment the rural character of the setting.
- M&G were pleased to work with and gain full support of the local Parish throughout the planning process. The development will provide a new footpath to help better link the village hall to the village itself.
- High quality building materials have been used throughout including local flint block with meticulous attention to detail in its application. Eco-friendly Air Source Heat Pumps have also been provided to all new homes
