M&G have submitted a planning application for 19 character country homes, our second development in the wonderful village of Cerne Abbas.
We have worked extensively with Williams Lester Architects to design a delightful development with an informal low-key character befitting of its village edge location. There will be a mix of two, three and four bedroom homes across the site forming a variety of detached, semi-detached and link-detached properties. This, along with the combination of local materials, will create an interesting and delightful street scene that will also meet local housing need.
Swanhills will reflect the collective character and wealth of architectural styles to be found within the wider village. Following on from our successful development nearby at Duck Street, there will be a continued focus on quality of appearance and fine detail throughout. Materials and finishes will include: local flint block with brick banding, rounded render reveals, low-cilled timber sash windows, tall brick chimneys and thick lime render under generous overhanging thatch.
The planning application has been submitted and further details will be available soon.
