- M&G have partnered with the landowner under the structure of a promotion agreement.
- The site is located outside of the village development area boundary and is subject to various planning constraints.
- M&G have analysed numerous development options and conducted negotiations with both the Local Planning Authority and Parish Council in order to bring the land forward for development.
- M&G previously prepared plans for a much-needed new car park to Mortimer Station. We undertook positive pre application discussions and subsequently agreed terms with Great Western Railway to take a lease of the new car park.
- A combination of the pandemic and a competing car park site have put the project on pause. M&G are now reassessing planning and development options that will both benefit the local community and provide our landowner partner with the desired outcome.
