Town Centre Brownfield. Negotiated an unconditional purchase from SSE of former offices and large car park. Worked closely with the appointed architects to produce a scheme for the conversion of the offices to residential apartments. Submitted application to LPA for approval of conversion under recently introduced Permitted Development Rights. Worked with the architects to arrive at scheme for 10 new town-houses in car park to rear. Challenging planning application necessitating retention of planning consultants and submission of transport, contamination, noise, biodiversity, and tree reports. On gaining the appropriate permissions negotiating a sale of the whole to a south coast based builder/developer.
